Even if you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks and comply with Regulation 10 Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Course Objective 

To provide an awareness and development of knowledge to site based employees of the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) within their everyday working environment and an overview of the legislative measures in place to safeguard themselves and others affected by work activities. This course is validated and accredited by the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA).

Upon successful competition of the course each candidate will receive a UKATA certified certificate which is valid for 1 year then refresher training is required.
